About Tiffany Corjay, LCSW
Tiffany Corjay, LCSW, is a Licensed Certified Social Worker with a strong foundation in both clinical expertise and compassionate care. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and her Master of Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Since 1998, Tiffany has been serving the Hot Springs community as a licensed psychotherapist.
A significant focus of her work is helping clients process and heal from trauma through EMDR therapy, reducing the lasting effects of past and present experiences, including abuse. She also works closely with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, and loss—equipping them with tools to cope, adapt, and move forward with confidence.
Tiffany enjoys working with clients of all ages. Early in her career, she dedicated many years to serving children within the Garland County school system. Today, her specialties include trauma-focused care and working with children and families using a solution-focused approach that emphasizes progress, resilience, and meaningful change.
A lifelong passion for horses has played an important role in Tiffany’s journey. Having competed in championship rodeos growing up, she now brings that passion full circle by integrating her love of horses with her work in therapy. Through Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy and Horse Powered Reading®, clients are offered a unique and supportive therapeutic environment. No riding experience is required—horses work alongside the therapist and client to provide feedback, establish boundaries, build trust, develop skills, and foster growth in a safe and engaging setting.
Why Do We Use Animals in Therapy?
Incorporating animals—especially horses—into therapy can be a powerful and effective approach to healing emotional and behavioral challenges. Horses naturally offer comfort, consistency, and a sense of calm that supports both the mind and body.
These animals are highly intuitive and able to sense and respond to human emotions, often reflecting them back in a way that creates awareness without overwhelming the client. This dynamic opens the door for meaningful insight and discussion in a gentle, non-threatening way.
Equine-assisted therapy has been shown to help regulate the nervous system, encourage social learning, strengthen healthy connections, promote secure attachments, and enhance the relationship between client and therapist. It provides a unique opportunity for growth, healing, and self-discovery in a setting that feels safe, grounded, and supportive.
TLC, Incorporated has a commitment to education and continued learning. Student interns are often present during sessions in office and with the animals. Please know that every step is taken to provide professional excellence in the care of every client at TLC. All work from a student intern is supervised and evaluated daily to ensure optimum performance and care.
